The ERC was built from a 1957 office complex, with the design goal of optimizing energy-efficiency while maintaining high-quality, high-performance spaces. Energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and resource conservation were all key goals.

    Environmental Aspects

A primary goal of the design and construction of the ERC was to be able to advance energy-efficiency and environmental innovation for others.
